Google’s “Do no evil” versus censoring search

First I am absolutely no expert in search arena.. So somethings my sound a bit stupid..

The last weeks I have seen a couple of examples of Google censoring certain search results. The reason of censoring is Google’s motto to do no evil..

Well that sounds like a great idea right?

It has some negative aspects. It means that Google is not serving their customers 100% but serving their own morals. It makes Google the parent that educates. It makes us dependent on Google’s choices.

More and more I have the feeling that I want to decide my search results. They need to open up!!!

I feel that 2007 will be a great year for Google but 2008????
